Roadmap Q3 2026 to 2029

From a reporting tool to the operating system for Cyprus sustainability

Vuneli reads your meters, your ledgers and the public registries. It prepares the numbers, keeps the audit trail, and writes the report in Greek and English. You keep the decisions.

Why Cyprus, and why now

Three facts set the shape of this product. Each one is a Cyprus fact, not a European average.

  1. The rules arrive on a fixed date.

About 40 Cypriot entities report under CSRD Wave 2 for FY2025. Thousands of smaller suppliers get the same questions from their EU customers, one Scope 3 questionnaire at a time.

  2. Global tools give the wrong number here.

Cyprus runs an isolated grid near 610 gCO₂ per kWh, priced by CERA and supplied by EAC. A platform that assumes an EU average factor produces a Scope 2 figure an auditor can reject.

  3. The island is made of small companies.

Enterprise ESG suites start above the budget of a 40 person hotel group or a Limassol ship manager. Vuneli is priced for that company, and it speaks its language.

The next twelve months

Four releases, from this quarter to the middle of 2027. Each one removes manual work from a step that Cypriot finance teams still do by hand.

Q3 2026. Audit ready ESRS and accounting connectors

Full ESRS coverage for Wave 2 and Wave 3 entities, limited assurance export packs, and direct read connectors for SoftOne, Epsilon Net and Sage Cyprus.

Transmission lines across a dry Cyprus landscape

Q4 2026. Zero input EAC billing and live grid data

Vuneli collects the EAC bill from the portal and syncs grid carbon intensity from the Transmission System Operator. Scope 2 then needs no data entry.

Q1 2027. The Cyprus SME Sustainability Index

A quarterly benchmark, aggregated and anonymous, for hospitality, shipping, manufacturing and professional services. Free to read, published in both languages.

Q2 2027. Regulatory co-pilot and CBAM autopilot

Vuneli watches the Official Journal and the Cyprus Gazette, tells you which rule applies to your entity, and files the CBAM XML for importers.

Three years out

When a Cypriot accountant is asked which tool to use, the answer is Vuneli. Every customer questionnaire pulls one more Cypriot supplier onto the platform, and the public dashboards become the reference for domestic decarbonisation.

Where the agents do the work

Five of the twenty automation plays on the build list. Each one replaces a task that a person repeats every month.

  1. CBAM autopilot

It reads the import invoice, maps the CN code to the EU default value or the supplier actual value, and returns the XML file the registry accepts.

    Flagship. Limassol import flows first.

  2. EAC bill reader

It parses the monthly EAC bill in Greek or English, checks the CERA fuel adjustment, and shows the tariff that costs less.

Typical saving of €200 to €1,200 per site each year.

  3. Bank feeds under PSD2

Read only access to Bank of Cyprus, Hellenic Bank and Alpha Bank turns fuel and merchant payments into Scope 1 and Scope 3 lines.

    No manual receipt entry.

  4. Supplier follow up on WhatsApp

The agent asks your Cypriot suppliers for Scope 3 data in Cypriot Greek, then follows up with the ones who do not reply.

    Greek and English, same thread.

  5. Training that follows the gaps

When a compliance gap appears, Vuneli builds the short course that closes it and issues a certificate the auditor can verify.

Signed records for the audit file.
